Creating a place-based economy in Westminster that works for everyone.

We’re changing the paradigm of community development, putting people and place front and center.

Our mission is to create a sustainable, resilient place-based economy in Historic Westminster where all people can thrive and prosper.

Collective Work

The Uplands Community Collective work is focused on four major pillars: food and agriculture, workforce development, business development, and civic engagement.

Collective Vision

The Uplands Community Collective was born out of a collaborative vision to improve the physical infrastructure along with the health and welfare of residents in Westminster. We believe community development is most effective when efforts are both place-based and people-based.

Collective Impact

The Uplands Community Collective believes in inclusive and diverse spaces where residents, organizations, businesses, and stakeholders can all work together to achieve a common purpose, coordinating and integrating programs and initiatives beyond agency boundaries.

Collective Advocacy

The Uplands Community Collective believes in utilizing story telling and data to frame the issues. We aim to create an inclusive space for residents to share their stories, to identify the issues they care about, and to amplify their solutions.

Collective Action

The Uplands Community Collective is above all about taking action to build a positive version of the world we want. We cannot do it alone. Become part of The Collective and be part of the movement.
