The Uplands Community Collective sees an opportunity for existing legacy businesses to capitalize on new growth opportunities in Westminster, and to help aspiring business owner and entrepreneurs launch the business of their dreams right within their community.

The Uplands Community Collective is working to support aspiring entrepreneurs, such as the local mom making tamales out of her kitchen, to take the next step and launch her business. We’ll be working to develop shared spaces and resources, possibly even including a licensed kitchen facility, to take a business from dream to reality. And in partnership with the Uplands Development, we’re working to tailor-fit small commercial kiosks to allow local entrepreneurs to test their business ideas at a low cost.

The Uplands Community Collective is working with leading experts in designing and deploying business accelerators, training and mentoring programs, as well as access to alternative sources of capital. Using industry data, as well as key partnerships, we’re identifying opportunities for new businesses and industries to launch and grow.
Grow it.
The Uplands Community Collective will ensure that existing small businesses, such as the local cornerstone, have the resources, capacity and support they need to grow and thrive. Because small and unique businesses are the heart of a vibrant and resilient community.
