The Uplands Community Collective is actively building a local workforce to meet the opportunities and needs of our local community. This work will begin with apprentice and training program in the construction and trades sectors to capitalize on the opportunity provided by building 2,000+ homes in the Uplands development.

Business Development

Small businesses drive a place-based economy, and create a vibrant, unique and resilient community. The Uplands Community Collective is working with existing small business owners to prepare and capitalize on future development opportunities, while also aiming to identify, incubate and grow businesses in key industries and service sectors.

Civic Engagement

Uplands community collective civic engagement

Civic society is a vital part of the American tapestry. With political, economic and social differences increasingly dividing our country, our democracy is threatened. The Uplands Community Collective is dispelling narratives that divide us by creating a vision and narrative that unties us. Through civic engagement initiatives where everyone can participate and feel a sense of belonging, we will build a stronger community.
